FAQ

What in home care services do you provide?

happycoupleWe provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, errands, transportation to appointments, meal preparation, laundry and housekeeping on a one-time or ongoing basis. We also offer much-needed respite to family members who just need a few hours a day or a day or two a week away from the day-to-day task of caring for a family member.

Who pays for in home or senior care services?

In addition to private pay and long term insurance, there are programs available to provide financial assistance, including the Veterans Administration (through the client’s case manager) and the Tennessee Waiver Program (1-866-836-6678), just two groups that may qualify clients for no-billed services.

What if the family does not like the caregiver provided? The staff tries hard to place the best caregiver for the requirements, personality and desires of the client and family. If we’re wrong, we correct the situation immediately by placing another caregiver with the client.

What makes you different from other in home care services like yours?

If you have a question or a problem and you want to talk to the key decision-maker at Family Staffing Solutions of Rutherford County, chances are company President Melissa Warren may have answered the phone. If there is a billing question, Nadine is across the hall; if you need a schedule changed, Marie will pick up the call; and if you need information about a caregiver’s qualification, Susan is within arm’s reach of her files and information; Mary performs ongoing follow-up visits with clients to ensure quality.

What about emergency situations?

Since the company owners and staff are all local, emergency situations for new or existing clients can be handled quickly and professionally. Warren and other staff members are even willing to go personally to the site of an emergency until an appropriate caregiver can be quickly located.

How do you make sure your caregivers offer quality care?

Family Staffing Solutions of Rutherford County goes the extra distance in interviewing, reference checks and multiple background checks to ensure the finest quality individuals are working as caregivers. In addition, staff members perform unannounced visits and talk frequently with clients and family members by telephone. If the client or the home is in any condition other than what we think is appropriate, the caregiver is removed from the client’s residence and from employment with Family Staffing Solutions of Rutherford County. “Bottom-line, we all live here, work here and raise our families right here in Rutherford County,” says Warren. “We want our clients and their families to know they have the best service in Rutherford County. We aren’t out to be the biggest. We want to be known as the best.”
