Melissa Warren and her husband Stephen Warren own the company and live in Murfreesboro. The couple has two sons: Matthew, a student at Motlow State Community College and Watkins College of Art, and Eric, a junior at Riverdale High School.

They began thinking about owning a home care business after they had a personal need 15 years ago when Melissa’s father became ill.

“My sisters, mother and I worked hard to keep Daddy at home after he got sick because he wanted to be at home,” Warren remembers. “My mother had most of the load because the rest of us were working and families of our own. We helped as much as we could but we were all worried about Daddy being sick and Mother getting sick because she was doing way too much.”

To make the situation even more challenging, Warren’s parents lived about an hour outside of Rutherford County.

“My eyes were opened wide about the need for some type of quality assistance that families can count on during difficult times like those,” Warren says. “That situation was just like what I see with many of my clients today. And we know that as a large portion of the population ages, this will become an ever-growing problem. As researchers find treatments that keep people alive longer, those treatments do not always keep the legs, mind and eyes at the same level of health.”

The Warrens purchased Family Staffing Solutions of Rutherford County in 2006 and work very hard every day to provide the type of service their own family wanted and needed.
